It was an unusually warm March in Florence this year. I thoroughly enjoyed being in this wonderful city again but most importantly I had a great time painting alongside a very talented young artist Amy Florence Mosley, a former instructor from Charles Cecil's Atelier, whose help and advice were invaluable. The models for the portraiture workshop were also very professional and cooperative. The 3 spring weeks in Florence were very inspirational and I came away with a renewed desire to paint and be a better artist.
